Bree
Blevins has dedicated her professional life to the art of ballroom dancing. A
proud Portland native, Bree graduated from the University of Oregon where she
majored in Anthropology and Dance Studies. Bree began her career with Arthur
Murray Dance Studios, where she quickly became one of the top instructors in
the western region. Dancing professionally, she made the finals of the World
Dance-O-Rama in 2002, dancing American Smooth. She continues to train both as a
professional competitor and instructor.
Bree
has taken her students to many competitions in places such as Canada, Puerto
Rico, Las Vegas, Minneapolis and San Francisco. Many of her students have taken
home top honors in the competitions. She recently started teaching beginner
group classes on Tuesday nights at the Weatherford Grand Lodge Ballroom in the
historic district of Oregon City. She is also teaching Cardio Latin Jam, a fun
way to work out and learn some Latin dance basics like the samba, cha cha and
salsa. Bree is a fresh and enthusiastic dance instructor for Ballroom Parkrose.

Bree
is also involved in her husband Darin’s family winery. King’s Raven Winery is
one of the closest destination wineries, located only 30 minutes south of
Portland in Oregon City. With its beautiful views of the Willamette Valley, it
is no wonder that their winery is becoming such a success. They are open for
wine tasting and have a half acre outdoor space that is ideal for weddings,
movie nights and other private functions. Go to www.kingsravenwine.com for more
