Stas Trilisky is truly an international, professional dance champion. He arrived in the United States via Russia, Israel and Canada. He currently resides in Beaverton where he dances with professional, Kristy Higgins. Stas has been the international standard, winning The Latin Ten-Dance Championship from the years 1991-2001. He has also been a former dance champion in Israel.

Born into a family of dancers, his father is the President of the Israeli Dance Association, as well as a judge and professional dancer. His mother is an expert instructor in her own right. Stas went from competitor to teacher when he came to this country in 2003. He joined Arthur Murray in 2005 to help with the opening team for Southern New Jersey. In his short time as an Arthur Murray Dance Instructor, Stas has achieved numerous awards for his expertise as an instructor, choreographer and dance director in the Portland metro area, New Jersey and New York.

Stas is delighted to be a part of the Assistance League’s presentation of Dancing with Portland’s Stars.
