This
is Kristy Higgins’s 14th year managing and teaching for Arthur
Murray Franchised Studios, the largest Ballroom, Latin and Social Dance
Teaching Institution in the world. Kristy started her career in Rochester, NY.
In 1998 she moved to Manhattan continuing her career with Arthur Murray while
performing in the Broadway production of “Crazy for You”. It was during this
time that Kristy started to gain prominence as a teacher and dancer. She
consistently won top teacher awards in Las Vegas, Orlando Super Rama and San
Francisco DOR. She has also won many awards within the company for overall top

After
several years Kristy went to Southern New Jersey to open a new franchise. This
soon became the fastest growing school in the first year of business, winning
Studio of the Year in 2005-2006. It was there that she met her professional
dance partner, Stas Trilisky. After four years, Kristy transferred to Arthur
Murray in Beaverton as general manager. In a very short time, this Beaverton
location was on its way to the top, winning the Studio of the Year Award in
2008, Studio Excellence Award 2008, Studio Achievement Challenge 1st
Place and Tournament of Champions 1st Place.
Kristy
is very excited to be part of the Dancing with Portland’s Stars benefit and is
